Description: This course will explore different components to the experience of grief and loss. Included will be discussions on the multiple considerations when working with clients who are struggling to understand or process their grief. As a provider, grief can be a difficult topic and it is important to have a strong skill set to be able to provide a compassionate and empathetic experience.
Learning Objectives:
- 2-4 types and stages of grief
- 2-5 behaviors displayed by someone grieving
- 2-3 techniques to use when working with a grieving client
