Degree: Masters in Community and Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University  

Fun Fact: For 11 years I fostered with the SPCA and my favorite animals to help were bottle baby kittens.  

Why I love the work I do: Every training brings a different experience and energy, I am always learning something new, and really enjoy meeting new professionals. Staying up to date on the latest research and interventions is a nice bonus too!

Emily Starr, LCSW

Degree: Masters in Social Work from University at Buffalo  

Fun Fact: I have been skydiving twice and am always up for an adventure!

Why I love the work I do: I think it is important to reflect on your practice regularly. This world is always changing and having flexibility is essential in the helping profession. Being an instructor for 716CEU, I get to learn from others and connect professionally.
