You’ve registered for a training course with 716CEU, now what?

Read on to learn about What to expect at your session, FAQs, and how to access your CEU records.

What to expect for:

In-person training sessions:

We ask that you come prepared with an open mind and are prompt and present, showing your instructor you’re absorbing the material by participating in activities & asking questions. This lets your instructor know they can move along through the material being presented in a timely fashion. Certificates will be available to you upon completion of the training entirety.

Self-learning training session:

If you decide to take a self-learn training we hope you enjoy the added bonus of browsing the material at your own pace and leisure. Course download will be available after purchase is complete. The link can be found in your confirmation email. Please check your spam/promotions folder if you did not receive one. Please keep in mind that due to state requirements you will have to pass a quiz with an 80% at the end of the training to ensure you understood the material. you have unlimited attempts. Please email the course instructor with information requested and your certificate will be emailed to you within three business days from the time we receive your information (unless otherwise noted).

For easiest access to your download please follow the link sent in your confirmation email. (Check your spam/promotions folder). If you do not see this email, please check, “spam,” “junk,” and “other” folders. You may need to check your webmail host directly (i.e., login to your email host on a computer), and mark the email as, “not junk.”

We suggest using a laptop/desktop and copy and pasting the download link to Google Chrome. Being aware of how to access a download is the responsibility of the learner. As each device is different, we do not have the capability to know where your download is located. The course must be completed in sequential order starting with the PowerPoint, then the quiz, and then the evaluation. If you skip this order your course will not be marked as completed and the enrollment and download will need to be reissued.

We are happy to help problem solve any issues you may have with the understanding that it make take us at least two business days to respond. After you have tried troubleshooting please contact us with your issue at 716CEU@gmail.com

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your trainings approved for continuing education credits (CEs)?

Yes! 716 CEU, LLC is an approved provider of continuing education for New York State licensed social workers and mental health counselors.

All practitioners are welcome to register for our trainings. Practitioners licensed in other professions and other states than New York are encouraged to check in with their State Licensing Boards to inquire about CE approval for our trainings. Some states are very flexible about this; others are not.

We do not record our trainings however, if you would like a slide or references sent to you we are happy to share them.

Not for our Live-Virtual trainings as they are considered “Live Online” by New York State Education Department, and New York State Education Department does not require that a test is taken for live online trainings. However, New York State Education Department does require that a test is taken for any Self-Learn trainings. You must receive 80% or higher to pass. You have unlimited attempts.

Attendees need to be present for the entirety of the training. Following the training, attendees complete required attendance and evaluation forms (a New York State Education Department requirement). The CE certificate is then sent by email within 2-3 business days.

You are welcome to take as many self-learning trainings as you’d like. However, please note that self-study may comprise no more than 12 continuing education hours in any three-year registration period, or one-third of the hours for a registration period other than 36 months. View our live-virtual education opportunities to fill your other CEU requirements.

As per NYS Department of Professions self-study may comprise no more than 12 continuing education hours in any three-year registration period, or one-third of the hours for a registration period other than 36 months.

716 CEU is not required to send any records to the state education department unless NYSED requests them. 716 CEU will store your certificates, attendance/evaluation forms, and any passing test grades for six years. During that time the state may request proof from us and at that time we will forward them the documentaion. It is important to note the learner must keep track of their CE certificates for six years as well, because the state can request them at any time during this time period.

For any other questions please check out ‘Our Policies’ page or email us.
