Meet the Presenter
Susan LaGraves, LCSW
Susan LaGraves is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health. Her career includes direct clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as more than 15 years in behavioral health leadership and operations.
Susan previously served as Deputy Director of Program Operations at Buffalo Psychiatric Center, where she led initiatives focused on improving patient access, strengthening rehabilitative services, expanding evidence-based practices, and advancing staff development and leadership initiatives.
Since retiring in 2024, Susan has focused on leadership development and supporting clinicians transitioning into supervisory and operational roles within behavioral health settings.
