Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to identify:

  • 2-3 Trauma Symptoms including the range of emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral symptoms associated with trauma from car crashes. This includes symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other common reactions.
  • 3-4 Therapeutic Approaches providing an overview of evidence-based interventions for trauma recovery. Participants will learn how to tailor these approaches to the unique needs of car crash victims.
  • 2-3 Supportive Communication Strategies discussing how to engage with clients empathetically, building trust while validating their experiences.
