Description: This interactive workshop is designed specifically for mental health professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of trauma symptoms experienced by car crash victims. With the rising number of road traffic incidents, it is crucial for practitioners to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively support these individuals in their healing journeys.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to identify:
- 2-3 Trauma Symptoms including the range of emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral symptoms associated with trauma from car crashes. This includes symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other common reactions.
- 3-4 Therapeutic Approaches providing an overview of evidence-based interventions for trauma recovery. Participants will learn how to tailor these approaches to the unique needs of car crash victims.
- 2-3 Supportive Communication Strategies discussing how to engage with clients empathetically, building trust while validating their experiences.
