Description: This course outlines how to transition to providing telehealth services and best practice for virtual professionalism. A brief overview of changes from in-person to telehealth counseling including how to document, manage, and monitor missed appointments. Suggestions for dealing with emergency situations and facilitating group services for the virtual client are also included.
Learning Objectives:
Upon Completion of this course participants will be able to identify:
- 2-3 tips to transition to Telehealth Services
- 1-2 recommendations when working with a client that misses appointments
- 2-3 suggestions to handle emergency situations
- 2-3 practices to facilitate virtual groups
