Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way mental health professionals complete documentation, develop client resources, organize information, and improve workflow. This practical course explores real-world applications of AI that can enhance efficiency while supporting high-quality, client-centered care.
Participants will learn practical strategies for using AI to assist with clinical documentation, psychoeducation, treatment planning, professional communication, and workflow organization. Through demonstrations, case examples, and guided activities, learners will develop skills for integrating AI into everyday practice while maintaining professional judgment and individualized care.
This course focuses on practical implementation rather than ethical foundations. Participants are strongly encouraged to complete Using AI Responsibly in Mental Health Practice prior to attending, as it provides a comprehensive overview of the ethical principles, risks, confidentiality considerations, and best practices that support responsible AI use. However, completion of the foundational course is recommended but not required.
