What we need from you:
For in-person trainings we ask that you come prepared with an open mind and are prompt and present, showing your trainer you’re absorbing the material by participating in activities & asking questions. This lets your trainer know they can move along through the material being presented in a timely fashion. If you need to take a phone call please find a private place to do so and return as soon as possible. We understand things come up so communication with your trainer will go a long way. If you’re running late let us know by emailing or calling. If you’re going to be more than 15 minutes late we ask that you kindly reschedule your training at no added fee to you. Please see our cancelation policy for further details. Certificates will be available to you upon completion of the training entirety.
If you decide to take a self-learning training we hope you enjoy the added bonus of browsing the material at your own pace & leisure. Please keep in mind that due to state requirements you will have to pass a quiz at the end of the training to ensure you understood the presented material. Upon completion of the webinar & satisfactory score on the quiz you will receive your certificate via email within 48 hours of completion.
For our live-virtual trainings we ask that you have a microphone in working condition but kept muted until you have something you would like to say. This helps keep interference and distractions to a minimum for your trainer and other participants. NYS also requires your video to be on throughout the entirety of the presentation. If you need to take a phone call or during our breaks you’re welcome to turn your video off. The virtual platform we use is Zoom. A link will be sent to the email you registered for the training with 24 hours before the scheduled training. If any materials are included in your learning experience we will send those in the email as an attachment. Certificates will be sent to you via the email you registered the training completion.
